Fire Victim Relief Fund Update

Thank you to community members far and wide who have contributed thus far to the Abell Improvement Association's Victim Relief Fund! To date we have raised $28,961 with a total goal of raising $50,000 for the fire victims. A special thank you to Peabody Heights Brewery who hosted an amazing fundraiser which contributed $17,768 to the fund!
We are still actively collecting for the victims. Checks can be made to AIA and mailed to our Treasurer Rhea Nödel at 3103 Abell Ave, Baltimore, MD 21218. Donations for fire victim assistance can also be sent via PayPal to AIA. The email address for the PayPal account is firstname.lastname@example.org; choose the option "sending to a friend," and please add a note that your contribution is for fire relief. While we do not have any updated information on the investigation into the fires set on June 15 that damaged multiple homes, we will share as soon as information is available. In the meantime, we encourage you to join our AIA Community Safety Walks every other Tuesday at 7:30PM, starting at the Abell Open Space. Next one: July 5, 2022.
