Preparing for a Disaster
Record flooding, tornadoes, winter blizzards, devastating hurricanes, pandemics and derecho-type storms have all visited Maryland in the last decades. Unfortunately, as our climate changes, it’s not a question of “if” a disaster is going to strike again, but “when?”
That’s why AIA and the Baltimore Office of Sustainability want all Baltimore residents to be prepared. How? There are three ways:
By working together to prepare for natural disasters, we can make Baltimore a more resilient and sustainable city. These short printable documents provide information on emergency contacts, planning, first aid kits, generators, food and water checklists.
