Election 2020: Request a Ballot

You MUST request a ballot if you wish to vote by mail for the November 2020 presidential election.

How to request a ballot

  1. Visit elections.maryland.gov

  2. Click on “Request a Mail In Ballot”

  3. You must have a Maryland ID to use the online ballot request form

  4. If you do not have a Maryland ID, you can STILL request a ballot using a paper form available on the same website.

How to vote in person

  1. Vote early Mon. Oct. 26 – Mon. Nov. 2, 7 am-8 pm at vote centers (locations still being finalized)

  2. Vote on November 3 at your polling place - normally the Barclay School or Waverly Pratt Library, but this time may be different

TO REGISTER TO VOTE, YOU MUST BE:

  • A U.S. citizen

  • A Maryland resident

  • At least 16 years old (although you can’t vote until you turn 18)
