Dear Community Members,
The wait is over! You may recall that in June/July 2021, the Abell Improvement Association surveyed community members to provide inspiration to artists who were interested in painting a mural on the brick wall that borders the 32nd Street Open Space.
In the past eight months, AIA has been continually working to 1) fundraise, 2) circulate a Request for Proposals, and 3) collect proposals from interested artists.
We've identified the top proposals based on initial feedback from the community. We're confident that any of these artists would produce a mural of which this community would be proud, but, because it's your mural, we need your input!
