A Kansas farm girl and her beloved dog are swept from their sepia-toned Kansas farm by a tornado and dropped—along with their house—into the technicolored wonderland of Oz. There they embark on a quest to see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the only person who can return them home. Along the way they meet three remarkable friends who join them in their quest. Can they make it to the Wizard without falling prey to the Wicked Witch of the West? And when they do find the Wizard, will he make all their wishes come true?
