New Year’s Eve Progressive Dinner

Avoid the roads and celebrate New Year’s Eve in Abell with your neighbors! Travel to four homes for four courses, beginning with appetizers and ending with champagne at midnight. This year, a fifth host is offering a special eggnog toast you may opt to attend. Attendees should bring a dish or beverage to share at one of the courses. Sign up at 7:00 p.m. - Appetizers 8:30 p.m. - Main Course 9:30 p.m. - Coquito (Puerto Rican eggnog) 10:00 p.m. - Dessert 11:15 p.m. – Champagne toast Locations of the host homes are listed for participants on the sign-up sheet.

Mark your calendar for the AIA Annual Membership Meeting and Officers Election on Saturday, January 25, at 10:30 a.m. in the meeting room of the Pratt Library - Waverly Branch, 400 E. 33rd Street. Holiday Caroling

Calling all Abell voices! Abell continues its tradition of Holiday Caroling on Sunday, December 22, adding a merry sound to the neighborhood for an evening of music, hot beverages and goodies. Carolers meet at 5:30 p.m. at 3212 Abell Avenue before heading out to serenade the Abell community. Song books are provided. Bring cookies or a snack for a post-caroling party.
