Nominations for AIA 2020 Officers

Would you like to help shape the activities and focus in your community? Consider volunteering to serve as an officer on the AIA executive committee. Meetings are monthly on a Saturday morning. Duties for officers are described in this link. Terms of office are one year; officers may serve no more than two consecutive years in the same position. Elections will be held at the Annual Meeting and Elections on Saturday, January 25, at 10:30 a.m. in the meeting room of the Pratt Library - Waverly Branch, 400 E. 33rd Street. Holiday Caroling Abell continues its tradition of Holiday Caroling on Sunday, December 22, adding a merry sound to the neighborhood for an evening of music, hot beverages and goodies. Carolers meet at 5:30 p.m. at 3212 Abell Avenue before heading out to serenade the Abell community. Song books are provided. Bring cookies or a snack for a post-caroling party. Chili Cook-off Gallery

Neighbors turned out on October 13 with a record number of entries in our annual chili cook-off. Entries included a venison chili, several vegetarian chilis and typical beef versions. Three winners took home prizes. Thanks to Emil Volcheck for being there to record the fun with this gallery of photos.
