Annual Chili Cook-off - Sunday, October 13, at 5 p.m.

Abell’s annual chili cook-off will return to the Open Space on 32nd Street again this year. Gather with neighbors and friends while enjoying some great chili. To enter the competition for a chance to win a prize, just bring a big pot of your chili. Everyone is invited to help judge. Contributions of side dishes, desserts or beverages are welcomed and encouraged, or enter your best chili! Parking Pass Online Renewal Begins September 20; Pick-up on October 19

Register online from September 20 through October 16 for RPP Area 12 Charles Village & 12A Abell Permits. Go directly to secure online site: You may view an instructional video at the site that will guide you through the application process. If you currently have a parking permit, you are already in the City’s RPP database. Enter your driver's license number and last name or password. Baltimore City’s annual Residential Parking Permits cost: Parking Permit (decal) $20 Visitors Pass $20 If you register after October 16, you must go to the Parking Authority office at 200 W. Bake a treat for the bake sale at the fair

Since 1973, Abell community members have provided home-baked goods to raise funds at the Street Fair. Please sign up to contribute your favorite cookies, pastries, cupcakes or cakes to the 2019 Abell Bake Sale. No store-bought goods, please. We also need volunteers to run the bake sale table on the day of the Fair. To contribute, please contact Susanne Riveles: or 410- 467-2721.

Abell Friday Movie: Robin Hood
